Maureen Allaben 1966 - 2010

I recently received some sad news that a good friend and co-worker of mine passed away. Maureen was an established food and product stylist. She left behind two children ages 10 and 7. Here is a link to the article on her death...

She will be dearly missed. My thoughts are with her children and family.

This is horrible. I hope the 'husband' gets what he deserves...jail 4ever or lethel. I am sad for the children. I can't imagine life without their precious mom.

I was devastated when I received the news of Maureen's death. She used to be married to my brother before she married Dennis. Such a wonderful person. I have kept her children and California family in my prayers.

Keith...I really don't know what to say...My heart aches right know and my condolences to you and Maureen's family. I never met Maureen personally. Back in April 2009 after viewing her website I was so impressed with her work I felt obligated to send her an email letting her know how "GREAT" her work was. I also informed her I was just starting out in the film industry as an aspiring Set Dress/Set Decorator and asked her if she had any suggestions for a newbie. She did respond very humble and graciously. I have still have those emails which I will cherish. Her shoes will be hard to fill. I pray that when I get my big break my work will leave the type of impression Maureen's work left on me. Blessings Abundantly~Tonya Austin
